While the weather will literally be getting hotter once summer arrives, Jordan Brand are also looking forward to heating things up with their upcoming Air Jordan 11 Low releases. It makes perfect sense too, considering that the celebrated low-top version of the Air Jordan 11 happens to be the ideal because of its low ankle cut. Generally, Jordanheads are not fond of the Jumpman’s low top retro sneakers, but history has proven that the Air Jordan 11 Low is an exception. Thus, these two Air Jordan 11 Low colorways featured here can be expected to fly off the shelves quickly.
One of the two sneakers, the Air Jordan 11 Low “Navy/Gum” can be expected to become the center of attention for the same reason the Air Jordan 4 “Dunk From Above” managed to. The reason is simply that it features a color combination that does not often make an appearance on Air Jordan retro iterations, namely navy blue uppers combined with gum rubber outsoles. Of course, this is the case with the Air Jordan 11 Low “Navy/Gum,” where the navy hue covers the entire uppers, including the inner linings, laces, patent leather overlays and tongues, while the gum rubber outsoles are merely separated by white midsoles.
The Air Jordan 11 “Varsity Red” is actually a returning colorway of the silhouette that had originally arrived at retailers back in 2001. Despite making its comeback after 15 years, the sneaker still looks the same with its plain white ballistic nylon mesh uppers. Of course, the iteration gets its nickname from the varsity red color patent leather overlay, which goes along the length entire sneaker from the mudguards to the toe boxes and around. The sneaker is also equipped with white midsoles and translucent outsoles.
Thus, as the weather begins heating up, Jordanheads will have some low-cut Air Jordan 11 pairs to lace up in. While it has still not yet been revealed when these the Air Jordan 11 Low “Navy/Gum” and the Air Jordan 11 Low “Varsity Red” will be up for grabs, they will reportedly it hit the shelves somewhere in Spring/Summer 2016.
