In the past, only a limited number of special releases from Jordan Brand have featured iridescent patent leather. Fortunately for the small footed Jordanheads, including 23 is Back readers, Jordan Brand is using the material once again on a pair of the Air Jordan 4. The monochromatic look of this Air Jordan 4 GS “Pearl” actually makes it resemble the Air Jordan 11Lab4, both of which will be hitting the shelves on upcoming Jordan release dates 2015.
2015 is apparently going to be a huge year for the Air Jordan 4 since a wide range of colorways of the silhouette will be arriving at retailers, including re-mastered retro iterations of the model. The re-mastered Air Jordan 4 “Columbia” or “Legend Blue” has already made its retail debut, while the re-mastered Air Jordan 4 “Oreo” will be hitting the shelves in the near future. However, in the case of this particular colorway, which has been dubbed “Pearl,” only girls and kids will be able to cop it.
A iridescent, light refracting, metallic silver-like texture is featured on the entire upper of this Air Jordan 4 GS colorway. To provide this monochromatic sneaker some contrast, the heel tab, lace waffles and tongue patch are all in grey. The sole is also grayish. Jordan branding on this sneaker includes the Jumpman on the heel and tongue, both of which seem to be camouflaged, while there is also another Jumpman beneath the sole too.
Despite the fact that the flashy and shiny nature of this sneaker makes it apt for women and children, all the men reading this on 23 is Back are probably wishing they could grab this new jordans too. As for the ladies and kids, they have probably already become fans of these kicks. However, they will have to continue waiting since none of the future Jordan release dates 2015 have been confirmed for the retail debut of the Air Jordan 4 GS “Pearl” yet.
