Jordan Brand continues to celebrate the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan 7 in 2015. The latest iteration of the signature model is paying homage to homage to the unforgettable performance that Michael Jordan displayed while playing for the Dream Team back in 1992. This colorway even resembles the Air Jordan 7 “Bobcats” or “Barcelona Nights” since it is apparently inspired by the visual appearance of Barcelona city during daytime. Out of all the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015, one has already been confirmed and that mean that this Dream Team-inspire Air Jordan 7 is arriving at retailers by the end of this month.
There have probably been numerous eminent basketball teams, but none of these teams can be compared to the 1992 Dream Team. The Olympic team was quite extraordinary and there have been equally spectacular Air Jordan 7 releases in the pass pay tribute to it, and and now a brand new colorway has been officially unveiled.
There are probably many Jordanheads who were not around in 1992 and have no clue what makes the Air Jordan 7 so special in this case. It is actually not that difficult to figure out since the Jordan 6 and 7 were the two sneakers worn by Michael Jordan during the games that lead to the Dream Team winning gold back then in Barcelona. Hence, it should not be surprising that this sneaker takes inspiration from Barcelona. Those who have seen the Air Jordan 7 “Barcelona” will likely notice that the Dark Grey, Wolf Grey, Total Orange and Turqoise Blue color combination of this new AJ7 rendition makes it look similar yet opposite.
While not technically a retro, this Dream Team-inspired Air Jordan 7 sneaker is being referred to as in this manner. Apparently Jordan Brand decided to drop this pair sooner than latter, i.e. on one of April Jordan release dates 2015, which means that it will be available at a price of $190 on April 25th.
