Hender Scheme, the Toyko-based footwear and leather brand, has made quite a name for itself by borrowing sneaker silhouettes and dressing them up in handmade, vegetable tanned leather. Hender Scheme’s reimagining of classic sneakers includes an unofficial vegetable tanned leather rendition of the Air Jordan 4 as well. However, recently Jordan Brand decided to introduce its own collection of tanned leather sneakers starting with the Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle and the latest tanned leather Jordan release dates 2015 is this upcoming Jordan CP3.9.
While Hender Scheme claims that their outrageously high-priced sneakers are tributes to coveted and iconic sneaker models from some of the most renowned footwear brands. However, the general opinion within the sneaker community is that Hender Scheme has been blatantly copying these famous silhouettes. Finally, Jordan Brand decided to do something about this and for the very first time utilized tanned leather to craft a sneaker that they will be dropping at a far more reasonable price than the Hender Scheme’s replicas. However, the upcoming tanned leather version of Chris Paul’s ninth signature performance sneaker takes this theme to a whole new level.
Chris Paul himself posted the photo of the premium-looking sneaker on Instagram, which was accompanied by the hashtags “#ComingSoon” and “#PremiumPerformance.” Chris Paul is obviously hinting that the Jordan release 2015 of this Air Jordan CP3.9 colorway is arriving very soon in the near future. Looking at the photo shared by Chris Paul, the neutral-colored tanned leather construction of the sneaker is obvious, which has even been paired with leather laces. The only trace of a secondary contrasting hue is in the form of the white inner lining and the frontal portion of the outsole.
As mentioned, Chris Paul has claimed that this tanned leather version of the Air Jordan CP3.9 will be makings it way to retailers soon. All that remains is for Jordan Brand to announce an exact release date.
