Jordan Brand had recently unveiled their Holiday 2014 lineup, and 23isBack readers may not have realized but along with retros, some next generation performance sneakers were also included in the range. The Air Jordan CP3.VIII, the next signature sneaker with Chris Paul’s name attached to it was also among them. This pair remains loyal to the low cut design that has the CP3 line has established. For sneaker heads who are wondering whether this CP3.VIII is set for a Jordan release 2015 or 2014, these new sneakers are being released this year, on November 1.
The CP3.VIII was introduced by Jordan Brand in New York City at Location 05 in the presence of Chris Paul himself and a group of media and VIPs. Much like its predecessor, the CP3.VII, Chris Paul’s new signature sneaker looks like it will be superb both on and off the court. It looks full of promise, both as casual wear and a performance sneaker. The herringbone pattern and a Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) outsole of this sneaker are meant to help with lateral cuts.
The Flight Web featured in the Air Jordan XX9 is also present on the CP3.VIII, as a result of which “good consistent lockdown” is provided. The CP3.VIII is lower than its predecessor the pattern on the side of this sneaker is that as the one Chris Paul has in his Jeep. It can also be seen that fiery colors are featured on the CP3.VIII, with inspiration coming from neon hues.
The Air Jordan CP3.VIII is proof that the CP3 shoes line has undergone such as evolution that it should definitely be considered by any basketball shooting guard and casual wearer. Two new jordans colorways of the CP3.VIII are going to be released, a “Black/Infrared 23/White” one and a “Black/Cool Grey/White” one. Jordan Brand has confirmed that the CP3.VIII will not have a Jordan release 2015 date but will be available for $130 at Jordan.com and global retailers on November 1.
