Despite the fact that the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 30 was last year, it seems that Jordan Brand will carry on with the celebration of their first signature sneaker’s rich history this year too. Last year, numerous OG colorways of the Air Jordan 1 had received the “Remastered” treatment and apparently, the same trend will continue this year too with the Air Jordan 1 iterations Jordan Brand will drop in 2016. It already seems that this year will mark the Jordan release date 2016 of a great deal of Air Jordan 1 High renditions in OG form, even including some GS ones that have already arrived.
Whether Jordanheads know it already or not, it is kind of certain that the Air Jordan 1 High will indeed be brought back this year in one of its several “Metallic” colorways from years ago. While 2009 had marked the return of almost all of the original Air Jordan 1 High “Metallic” iterations, a particular one had never hit the shelves back then. Fortunately, the sneaker seen here with navy accents is going to be a precise replica of its OG counterpart once Jordan Brand drops it this year. However, Jordan Brand has already also dropped some other Air Jordan 1 High renditions.
Jordan Brand has whipped up not one but a trio of new Air Jordan 1 High colorways, but many Jordanheads will not be able to lace up in them since they are exclusively GS sized. The first of these three sneakers is dressed up in a combination of Green, Pink and White. The other two sneakers resemble each other to quite an extent, with uppers made up of a combination of nubuck and tumbled leather, one a Black and Red edition and the other a Black and Royal Blue version. A White midsole and a tonal outsole add the finish touch to both these sneakers.
While this news may not interest Jordanheads who cannot even fit into these sneakers, but for those who can, they will not have to wait for their Jordan release 2016. All three of these Air Jordan 1 High GS colorways can be copped right away since they have already hit the shelves.
