Blake Griffin’s previous season was rather mediocre. As a result of injuring his hand and quadriceps, he was able to participate in merely 35 games. Despite struggling slightly, he did manage to live up to expectations in those 35 games by scoring an average of 21.4 points. Unfortunately, soon after he had recovered from the hand quadriceps injuries, but he would up injuring his quadriceps once again and consequently his season came to an abrupt end. While this quad issue is certainly concerning, he can rejoice knowing that Jordan Brand will soon drop an entire pack of his latest signature model, the Jordan Super.Fly 5.
Back in June of this year, Jordan Brand decided to add a new installment to Blake Griffin’s signature series that would succeed the Jordan Super.Fly 4. Thus, the Jordan Super.Fly 5 was officially introduced, which is definitely fit for a high-flyer like the star forward of the Los Angeles Clippers. Upon first glance, it becomes obvious that the Super.Fly 5 has been built to be versatile, with lightweight inner sleeves and uppers. Even the Zoom Air unit in each forefoot is also lightweight along with being responsive and keeps the wearer’s feet adequately snug. Its knitted uppers also appear relatively neater than those of its predecessor.
If Blake Griffin manages to make a successful comeback in the upcoming NBA season, it can be expected that he will be rocking the Super.Fly 5. Over the last few weeks of August, photos began popping up of several different colorways of the Jordan Super.Fly 5. The latest ones turned out to be a part of a collection that Jordan Brand has dubbed the “Team Pack,” which comprises of four different tonal iterations. The pairs reportedly draw inspiration from NBA uniforms and include a Black, a Game Royal, a Gym Red and a Midnight Navy pair. The Jordan Super.Fly 5 “Team Pack” is already available now and the retail price of each pair is $140.
