This year, Jordan Brand seems to be on a spree of dropping “Hare” Jordan releases of the most iconic Air Jordan silhouettes. Not so long ago, the Air Jordan 1 “Hare” hit the shelves, specifically on April 11th and it should still be available for $110. Similarly, April 18th marked the retail debut of the Air Jordan 7 GS “Lola Bunny” and a “Hare” colorway of the AJ7 is also going to arrive at retailers in May. Now it seems that a Hare-inspired rendition of the Air Jordan 29 will also debut on one of the upcoming May Jordan release dates.
The fact of the matter is that Jordan Brand can depict and portray just about any kind of illustrations since the Air Jordan 29 has a woven upper. However, this particular colorway of the Jordan XX9 is quite conventional. This Air Jordan 29 iteration takes inspiration from the Hare Jordan 1 and 7 since the pair’s entire upper is dressed up in the same tongue patterns of these other two Air Jordan “Hare” colorways. Although accent hue on the other Hare Jordan releases 2015 is red, the accent hue used on this rendition is purple, which can be spotted on the liner and midsole. Even the 23 logo featured on the tongue and the gigantic Jordan Jumpman featured on the side are also in purple, while an icy outsole completes the makeup of this sneaker. Many Jordanheads are probably disappointed that this Air Jordan 29 does not sport the “Hare Jordan Jumpman.”
Many sneakerheads may also feel that Jordan Brand had the perfect chance to showcase the Bug’s Jumpman branding in large size. However, that does not mean that this Air Jorda 29 “Hare” is not somewhat of a collector’s piece. Hopefully, this should be enough to tempt sneaker collectors into copping this new jordans when it hits the shelves on one of the upcoming Jordan release dates 2015, which is likely going to be in the coming months.
