O.G. sneaker heads here on 23 is Back probably have their eyes set on next year since not only is 2015 going to prove to be epic of Jordan Brand, it will also turn out to be epic for them too. Even though no 2015 Jordan release dates have been officially announced, the remastered Air Jordan retros that will be released next year are still in the news.
23isBack readers probably not so forgetful that they do not remember that this past June, Jordan Brand had revealed its plan to remaster Air Jordan retros for next year as a part of the 30th anniversary of the brand. For those who do not recall, essentially Jordan Brand is going to be producing the retro sneakers closer to the specifications back when they had been originally released. This means that same materials will be used and same overall construction will be featured amongst other O.G. elements.
On August 28, a Jordan Brand event was held in New York City where a select group of influencers were lucky enough to witness the unveiling of the Air Jordan remastered collection in person. Based on images that have surfaced, Jordan heads on 23 is Back should not only be expecting original colorways, but can also look forward to all-new iterations too. Apparently, work on the remastered lineup has already begun.
As far as the originals as concerned, “Columbia” and “Oreo” 4s, the “Chicago” 10s with # 45 branding, and the “French Blue” 7s are included among the remastered retros. A teal colored Air Jordan 4, as well as the Air Jordan 10s “Bulls Over Broadway” and “Lady Liberty,” for the All-Star weekend that will be taking place in New York City in 2015, are amongst the new colorways.
It does not matter if the 2015 Jordan release dates, but 23isBack readers should definitely begin saving accordingly if they want to grab these reamstered kicks when they drop in 2015.
