Sneakerheads probably know this very well that Jordan Brand has a tendency to incorporate a variety of different materials on their sneakers. Hence, they should not feel surprised about the fact that they have been working on an Air Jordan 4 rendition that is made up almost entirely of faux, synthetic snakeskin. This Air Jordan 4 “Snakeskin” iteration remains uncertain as of now since it still seems to be in the sample phase. However, this new Air Jordan 4 colorway can be expected to be up for grabs in the near future.
It was Instagram user @realchickenwop who posted this photo of the Air Jordan 4 “Snakeskin.” Over the years, Jordan Brand has whipped up plenty of Retro iterations of the Air Jordan 4 model, but other than customs, none of them have ever gotten a snakeskin makeover. So far, Jordan Brand has refrained from meddling with the Air Jordan silhouettes that Michael Jordan actually sported on the hardwood. However, late in September it seemed like Jordan Brand had changed their mind because an Air Jordan 4 PRM “Snakeskin” iteration was previewed last month and now this new Air Jordan 4 “Snakeskin” version has also surfaced.
This “Snakeskin” rendition actually really is a sample. This Air Jordan 4 pair has an upper that is almost entirely covered in python snakeskin material. In fact, this Air Jordan 4 iteration resembles the Nike Air Python PRM because of the neutral hues that the snakeskin material features. Jordan Brand has added finishing touches in the form of cream leather overlays, leather laces and white inner lining, while the upper has been paired with an off-white midsole and outsole. The heel tab is also made of leather and it features a tonal Jumpman.
There have been no hints from Jordan Brand regarding whether the 2015 jordans of this sneaker will ever take place. However, it is being rumored that Jordan Brand has a Pinnacle pack in the works that will include this Air Jordan 4 “Snakeskin” when it hits the shelves.
