For quite some time, the Air Jordan I Mid was somewhat of a hiatus, which is something that 23 is Back readers may have noticed. Apparently, the silhouette has made a comeback with this new “Gym Red” colorway that takes an approach similar to that of the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder,” which featured a black and yellow color combination. Although this look is not included in the “Legends of Summer” series, Jordan heads can take comfort in the fact that the trend of all red sneakers lives on. Perhaps even future Jordan release dates might be associated with all red Air Jordans.
Earlier, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is making its retail debut in a “Gym Red” colorway, but it was a Euro-only release. However, a chiefly red look is apparently being extended to the Air Jordan 1 Mid as well, with a side panel that is nearly iridescent and seems to be reflecting light.
Even though 23isBack readers are probably getting their first look at this Air Jordan I Mid “Gym Red” pair, but Titolo and other international stores had already previewed it a couple of years back. Now these kicks have also made an appearance in the United States, and it is unlikely that sneaker heads are disappointed by it. The heal and toe box feature glistening, near patent leather panels that shine in the sunlight, while an old school “Wings” logo and Swoosh add some contrasting black touches to this pair.
This Air Jordan 1 Mid “Gym Red” will probably serve as a nice alternative to the similar colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, especially for 23 is Back readers who were not able to cop it. This new jordans looks as if it belongs in the “Legends of the Summer” series that included all red Air Jordans, but it was never publically released. Jordan heads can stop pondering about potential 23isback release dates 2015 for this particular pair since Jordan accounts are already selling this latest Air Jordan 1 Mid for $105.
