Jimmy Butler recently being traded from the Chicago Bulls to the Minnesota Timberwolves is apparently not the only reason that he has been in the news. Last week, Jimmy Butler put his mansion in Chicago’s River North neighborhood for sale at a price of $5 million. One of the standout features of Jimmy Butler’s mansion is his huge walk-in sneaker closet, which is larger than some of the studio apartments in Chicago. A photo of the walk-in closet reveals that it has wall-to-wall shelves stacked with sneakers while pairs and pairs of kicks also appear to be arranged across a majority of the floor space.
Sneakerheads probably cannot help but wonder how many sneakers in total are in there. The fact of the matter is that the entire closet is not even seen in the photo, so there is simply no way of knowing how many sneakers are in there. However, based on what can actually be seen, there appear to be 526 pairs in the photo, or 1,054 shoes in total. Jimmy Butler happens to be a Texas native and he apparently loved wearing cowboy boots, so it should not come as a surprise that several pairs can be spotted in the photo as well, on the left side.
Jimmy Butler’s sneaker collection at his mansion seems to include the two pastel colorways of the Air Jordan 1 High that arrived around Easter 2017. Two Air Jordan 1 Retro High pairs can also be spotted. During a recent interview that was aired on ESPN’s SportsCenter, a photo of Jimmy’s huge collection was flashed, and he jokingly asked them to take it down. Jimmy went on to admit that he loved being a Jordan Brand athlete and loved his sneakers. Jimmy’s all-time favorite model is the Air Jordan 12 Low and he claims that he does pay attention to the cost of sneakers.
