JBF Customs Has Created A BAPE-Themed Jordan 1 That Looks Like An Official

Jordan Brand has never collaborated with the Nigo-based Japanese clothing brand, BAPE or A Bathing Ape, and it is likely that these two brands will be officially collaborating anytime soon. Apparently, one of the best customizers in the sneaker community decided to take matters into their own hands. JBF Customs customized this Air Jordan 1 iteration that makes it seem as if Jordan Brand has actually collaborated with the Japanese streetwear legend. Instead of waiting for upcoming Jordan release dates 2015, collectors can grab this Bape x Air Jordan 1 custom right away.

They should be glad that their wish has been indirectly granted, neither by BAPE nor by Jordan Brand, but rather by Jacob Ferrato who is better known as the sneaker customizing genius, JBF Customs. This custom sneaker is basically a BAPE-themed Air Jordan 1 rendition.

JBF Customs whipped up the Bape x Air Jordan by using pieces of materials from genuine Black BAPE denim jeans and BAPE camo jackets to reconstruct each sneaker. Along with giving the upper a BAPE makeover, Jacob has combined it with a White sole unit and has added the finishing touch in the form of unique Bape x JBF Customs logo where the Jordan Jumpman is usually present.

However, that will not be possible considering JBF Customs intends to customize only 4 pairs apart from the one he created for himself. Those spots have probably already been filled and would have cost those lucky sneakerheads $1,500 and their own Air Jordan 1 pair. The rest of us can just keep our eyes peeled for more news related to upcoming Jordan release dates 2015 and 2016.
