Apparently the low-top form of the Air Jordan 13 will be creating quite the hype when Jordan Brand releases another new colorway after such a long time. The sneaker is themed after the Charlotte Hornet and it is one of the first Air Jordan releases of 2015 to arrive at retailers featuring a Hornets-inspired color combination. It should not feel surprising that this distinctive Air Jordan 13 Low “Hornets” will be hitting the shelves on one of this month’s Jordan release dates 2015 since the Charlotte Hornets technically belong to Michael Jordan.
It was back in 2006 when the Air Jordan 13 Low “Hornets” was last spotted and thanks to Jordan Brand’s wise decision, the colorway is making a comeback once again this year. As per the schedule, this weekend is supposed to mark the retail debut of this “Hornets” colorway of the Air Jordan 13.
The upper of this sneaker primarily consists of plain white tumbled leather, which is the dominant hue featured on this sneaker. The heel, midsole, side panels and tongue of this pair are covered in Midnight Navy. Moreover, the Jordan Jumpman on the tongue and the outsole are accentuated with the Turquoise hue that makes them looks like a truly Charlotte Hornets-inspired sneaker. The Turquoise accents also adds more appeal to this pair, making it more eye-catching to sneakerheads.
It is true that one of this week’s Jordan release dates was supposed to be the moment when this sneaker would hit the shelves, based on the announcement that Jordan Brand had made recently. However, at the last moment Jordan Brand apparently decided further add to the anticipation that sneaker collectors have been experience by delaying the release. Now, the Air Jordan 13 Low “Hornets” is arriving at retailers during the upcoming weekend, precisely on April 24th, and it will be up for grabs at a price of $160.
