Before April comes to an end, it will mark the beginning of the 2015 NBA Playoffs, and with summer almost here, sneaker brands have started dropping kicks that can be worn during this season. Jordan Brand have also geared up for the Playoffs by dressing up the coveted Air Jordan 11 Low silhouette in a Hoyas-inspired “Georgetown” colorway, which will hit the shelves on one of the April Jordan release dates 2015.
This here is the Air Jordan 11 Low “Georgetown” that seems like it belongs in a College pack by Jorda Brand and it has added it self to the list of sneakers inspired from MJ’s tenure as a member of the North Carolina Tar Heels. The shoe features the use of the finest premium Grey Mist condura nylon all over the upper base where the toe box has a layer of shiny Midnight Navy patent leather, which is stitched along the sides all the way over to the heel.
Other than this the whole shoe is plain except the ankle area which is coated in the same Midnight Navy shade of patent leather and this color can also be seen on the inner lining of the tongue while the inner padding of the shoe is also in Midnight Navy which is also on the tongue tab as well. The new jordans also has White accents all over it, such as the laces, and coming to the logos we can see the tiny Jordan Jumpman in White, which is both stitched on the Midnight Navy tongue tab and can be seen on the heel area too. If we take a look at the soles of the snaker we can see that the midsole is an over all white surface with an icy, translucent blue outsole beneath it.
Earlier speculation was that this Georgetown-themed Air Jordan would probably release in July. However, one of the April Jordan release dates 2015 has already been confirmed. Hence, the Air Jordan 11 Low “Georgetown” is headed to retailers on April 11th.
