Finally The Air Jordan 3 Returns Later This Year In OG “True Blue”

Jordanheads who had no hopes of the discontinued Air Jordan 3’s return can now rejoice because one of the most coveted and iconic colorways of the model is scheduled for a Jordan release dates 2016. As of now, everyone who is reading this is likely aware that the Air Jordan 3 has been on nearly a one and a half year hiatus ever since Jordan Brand halted the silhouette production back in August 2014. With the exception of a few NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Air Jordan 3 in collaboration with Roger Federer, not a single pair of the third Air Jordan model hit the shelves in 2015. air-jordan-3-true-blue-02In terms of sales, the Air Jordan 3 was definitely at the peak and making new records. Apparently, this was the reason that Jordan Brand pulled the plug on the sneaker and decided to momentarily discontinue the silhouette. While it was obvious before, it is even more obvious now that the halting of the Air Jordan 3’s production was only temporary, and it succeeded in its purpose of building hype for the model during its absence. However, it is now more than certain that the Air Jordan 3 is indeed making its comeback this year. In fact, it turns out that the Air Jordan 3 will arrive at retailers in OG form, in its classic ’88 “True Blue” iteration. Even though this is not the first time that the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” has received the retro treatment, it happened in 2011, but reportedly this year’s OG version will bear the Nike Air branding on its heel. air-jordan-3-true-blue-03Judging from the reports, the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” is going to be this year’s Black Friday sneaker from Jordan Brand. Obviously, this means that its Jordan release 2016 could take place near the end of November this year. It is definitely a long way, which is the reason that no photos have surfaced yet of this year’s returning OG edition. air-jordan-3-true-blue-04Air Jordan 3 Retro “True Blue” “Black Friday”
