It was back in 2011 when Chris Paul was sent to the Los Angeles Clippers, so it has not been very long since he started playing for the team, yet many seem to forget his roots can be traced elsewhere. The fact of the matter is that Chris Paul was a member of the New Orleans Hornets when he began his career as a mere underdog whose limits were being tested. Now he has nine signature Air Jordan silhouettes under his name from the CP3 line, and the Jordan release dates of not one but two versions of his Air Jordan 13 PE is scheduled for later this year.
In 2015, Jordan Brand set in the motion the reinforcement and strengthening of the CP3 line. They introduce some dope leather and suede lifestyle iterations of the CP3.9 that took the sneaker community by storm, even though Jordan Brand has not dropped any hints regarding their release. After news recently surfaced that Chris Paul’s Air Jordan 13 “Hornets” PE would be mass produced for the general public, new information suggests that the Player Exclusive sneaker will also arrive in a Home rendition.
Recently, Chris Paul was busy partaking in NBA’s Global Games versus the Charlotte Hornets, who recently rebranded themselves. While playing on the hardwood, he was spotted laced up in this upcoming Home version of his Air Jordan 13 “Hornets” PE. The color scheme of the sneaker consists of Orion Blue, Sunstone, and White, matching the former team colors of the New Orleans Hornets. The upper of the sneaker is made up of leather and mesh, with suede overlays throughout and the tongue featuring the “CP” logo.
The exact date for the Jordan release 2015 of both the “Away” and “Home” editions of the Air Jordan 13 “Hornets” PE remain to be announced. Nonetheless, Jordanheads should feel lucky that they are actually a chance to cop these sneakers that were once exclusive to Chris Paul only.
