Blake Griffin’s Super.Fly 4 Signature Performance Model Gets The “Marvin The Martian” Treatment

Nearly a month remains for the Air Jordan 7 to hit the shelves in a “Marvin the Martian” iteration, but it is not the only Looney Tunes-inspired Air Jordan colorway that will arrive at retailers next month. In fact, Blake Griffin’s all-new Super.Fly 4 has already debuted in its very own “Marvin the Martian” colorway in China just a few days ago. While one of the August Jordan release dates 2015 will be marking the global retail debut of the Air Jordan Super.Fly 4 “Marvin the Martian,” sneakerheads in China have probably already grabbed a pair. Jordanheads were probably wondering if they would see any other Looney Tunes-inspired Air Jordan colorway this year. Sure enough, Jordan Brand somehow decided to Blake Griffin’s fourth signature sneaker from the Super.Fly series the “Marivn the Martian” treatment. While an upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan 7 also takes its inspiration from Marvin the Martian, but it is this Super.Fly 4 rendition that does a much better job of representing the Martian from Mars.

Considering that this colorway also happens to be the latest model in the Super.Fly, so apart from a never-before-seen look, it also features quite a few performance upgrades too. The all new basketball silhouette includes an advanced FlightSpeed base, an upper made up of breathable mesh to maximize the sneaker’s breathability and a robust heel counter to accommodate explosive movement. When it comes to its appearance, this Super.Fly 4 iteration is primarily dressed up in an ominous shade of Black, while the laces, outsole and the tongue are covered in a vivid Green hue. Red is also a part of the color scheme, visible over the gradient-like underlays, the Jordan “Jumpman” logo and the lace eyestay. Jordanheads will have to keep waiting for one of the upcoming August Jordan release dates 2015, July 1st already marked the retail debut of the Air Jordan Super.Fly 4 “Marvin the Martian” in China. As for sneakerheads elsewhere, including the US, Blake Griffin’s latest signature sneaker silhouette will be up for grabs at a price of $150 on August 5th. Super.Fly 4 “Marvin the Martian”
