The Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” is returning to join this year’s Air Jordan releases 2019, but this time as a women’s exclusive in satin form. The “Black Toe” is one of the most popular colorways of the Air Jordan 1. Much like the “Banned / Bred” colorway, which is also making a comeback this year, it was also originally released back in 1985. In the past two decades, the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” has returned twice before, just three years apart, once back in May 2013 and later in November 2016. However, this is the first time it has received the satin treatment.
The Air Jordan releases 2019 arriving later this month will include this Air Jordan 12 WMNS iteration that has faux reptile-textured uppers. It is certainly nothing new for one of Jordan Brand’s signature model to feature faux reptile skin detailing. You may recall the Air Jordan 1 Pinnacle “Croc” and the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low IE “Croc” both, both of which arrived at retailers back in 2015. You may also likely know about the three different “Snakeskin” iterations of the Air Jordan 11 Low that will hit the shelves soon. So, it was only a matter of time until the Air Jordan 12 also received the reptile treatment.
While the Air Jordan 12 has never really featured reptile-textured detailing before, this is not the first time that that it will is being released with unconventional uppers. One example of such an iteration would be the Air Jordan 12 “Wool,” which made its retail debut on October 1st, 2016 at a price of $200. Its Dark Grey-colored uppers were literally made up of wool, the only exception being its leather mudguards. Another more recent example would be the Air Jordan 12 “Winterized,” which retailed for $225 last year on December 15th, 2018. It had rubberized waterproof/weather-resistant rubberized uppers to keep the wearer’s feet dry and warm during winter.
Despite being dressed up in a basic Black and White color scheme, the Air Jordan 12 WMNS “Reptile” looks quite luxurious. This is likely because a majority of its all-Black uppers are made up of reptile-textured leather. Additionally though, it still featured its traditional textured leather mudguards and its tongues appear to be made up of smooth leather. Its rubber soles are completely plain White. Adding a further touch of luxury to it, Metallic Gold can be spotted over its side badges, upper lace locks and the “Jumpman” logo on its tongues. Mark your calendars, because this women’s exclusive iteration will be among this month’s Air Jordan releases 2019.
Air Jordan 12 WMNS "Reptile" Color: Black/Metallic Gold-White Style Code: AO6068-007 Release Date: April 26, 2019 Retail Price: $190

The Air Jordan 8 will be joining upcoming Air Jordan releases 2019 in another “Aqua” colorway, which is actually a women’s variation. Last year in 2019, Jordan Brand released several different brand new colorways of the Air Jordan 8. It all started with the two Air Jordan 8 “OVO” colorways that Jordan Brand released during the 2019 NBA All–Star Weekend. Other Air Jordan 8 releases from last year included the “Valentine’s Day” colorway for women, the “South Beach” colorway, the colorway inspired by the Nike Air Raid OG, and the “Snowflake” colorway. Now it seems that an alternative of a former Air Jordan 8 colorway is on its way.
