It seems that three of next year‘s Air Jordan releases 2019 are going to be collaboratively designed by Jordan Brand and Trophy Room. For those who don’t know, Trophy Room is the boutique that Michael Jordan’s younger son Marcus Jordan opened back on May 23rd, 2016. It is located inside the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Considering Marcus Jordan’s obvious close connection with Jordan Brand, it was only natural that the boutique would be featuring many different Air Jordan PE pairs. In fact, Marcus Jordan even teamed up with Jordan Brand for a special Air Jordan release that exclusively debuted at Trophy Room’s grand opening.
By now, sneakerheads must already know that Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, owns one of the leading Jordan Brand sneaker stores today. Aptly named Trophy Room, it was inspired by the actual trophy room in Michael Jordan’s family house. Back in June, there was a massive Air Jordan restock that took place at Trophy Room and in just a matter of minutes, the restocked sneakers sold out. These included the Air Jordan 1 “Top 3,” the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam,” the Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux,” and numerous others. It seems that this month might even mark the debut of another Trophy Room x Jordan Brand exclusive release. Continue reading This Trophy Room x Air Jordan 17 Might Make Debut In October 2017
It seems that another Trophy Room x Jordan Brand exclusive might be on its way to joining this year’s upcoming Jordan releases 2017. The previous collaboration between Jordan Brand and Trophy Room resulted in the creation of the Air Jordan 16 “French Blue.” The sneaker was exclusively available in limited quantities at a Trophy Room Pop-Up Event. Sneakerheads had to show up at TIER Nightclub in Orlando, Florida to receive a numbered wristband in order to be able to cop a pair. This time, it seems that the Air Jordan 17 has been chosen as the model for the latest collaboration between Jordan Brand and Trophy Room. Trophy Room is the name of the sneaker boutique in Orlando that was established and is operated by Marcus Jordan, Michael Jordan’s elder son. Just recently, Marcus made an announcement via his Twitter account that Trophy Room would be collaborating with the Japanese clothing brand, A Bathing Ape (BAPE). He even unveiled the apparel-centric collection, which included a variety hats, shorts and t-shirts. All of the included apparel featured a BAPE’s signature camo print, while the gold detailing represented Trophy Room. Ever since its opening, Trophy Room has also become known for its exclusive Air Jordan releases, which seems to be the case with the Air Jordan 29 featured here. Sneakerheads should already know by now that the Air Jordan 16 “Midnight Navy” is making a comeback among November 2016’s Jordan releases. Fifteen years have passed since its original retail debut back in March 2001 and it had also arrived alongside the Air Jordan 7 as a part of 2008’s Countdown Package. Back in mid-October of this year, Marcus Jordan revealed that 2016 would mark the release of another colorway of the Air Jordan 16 as well. According to Marcus Jordan, this Air Jordan 16 iteration will be a Trophy Room-exclusive and now it has even been confirmed when this exclusive sneaker will be up for grabs. Back in 2010, Nike had attempted to revive a previously successful and popular Footscape model. With a soft inner cushioning and a breathable upper, these kicks were hot a good time back. They were released in two new colorways. The two colorways were both high top models, and featured beige and white colors on them. The toe-box had perforations for adequate ventilation in the Free Hybrid model, while the side-panels featured perforated leather on the Supreme models with squared patterns. Jordan Brand has also been busy doing some revival of its own, with its plans to add the Air Jordan 16 to 2016’s upcoming Jordan releases.
