The Air Jordan 10 “Tinker” Borrows The Air Huarache Light’s “Ultramarine” Color Scheme

This year, Tinker Hatfield has been taking a trip down memory lane, bringing to life his original sketches of some of the most iconic Air Jordan sneaker models he designed years ago. It all began with the Air Jordan 3 “Tinker,” which made its retail debut this year on April 30th, Tinker Hatfield’s birthday. The Air Jordan Black Cat (Air Jordan 13 “Tinker”) also arrived at retailers earlier this year, while the Air Jordan 6 “Tinker” will hit the shelves soon. Also on its way is the Air Jordan 10 “Tinker.” Set to join upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018, it borrows the color scheme of another Tinker Hatfield-designed model. An Air Jordan 10 “Tinker” Will Be Joining October’s Air Jordan Releases 2018

The 1993 NBA Finals was the last game that Michael Jordan participated in before retiring from the sport to pursue a professional baseball career and the Air Jordan 10 debuted a year after that. Although Michael Jordan was not around to be the first to rock the Air Jordan 10 on the court, he did lace up in the Air Jordan 10 “Chicago” in his first game after returning back in March 1995. Of course, the Air Jordan 10 was designed by Tinker Hatfield. Keeping with a particular recent trend, it seems that a “Tinker” rendition of the tenth model will also be joining upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018. These Two Air Jordan 13 “Tinker” Colorways Will Be Debuting In Fall 2018

The Air Jordan models that Tinker Hatfield ended up designing did not always turn out looking exactly likely his original sketches for them. This became quite obvious when Jordan Brand unveiled the Air Jordan 3 “Tinker Hatfield,” a brand new iteration based on Tinker’s original sketch of the model. The sneaker ended up joining March’s Air Jordan releases and has been restocked a few times, considering that it is also the model’s 30th anniversary this year. However, this release apparently kicked off a trend for iterations inspired by the original sketches drawn by Tinker Hatfield for each Air Jordan model he designed, such as the Air Jordan 13. An Early Air Jordan 13 Sketch Is Being Transformed Into A “Tinker” Iteration

30 years ago, Michael Jordan made a rather impressive and seemingly impossible dunk during the 1988 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest. Michael Jordan was laced up in the Air Jordan 3 at the time, as he soared through the air. Tinker Hatfield’s early sketch of the Air Jordan 3 reveal that he had intended for the model to feature the Nike “Swoosh” logo at the each, outer side. This year, that sketch was brought to life with the release of the Air Jordan 3 “Tinker.” This has apparently set off a trend of “Tinker” renditions based on his early sketches of models like the Air Jordan 13.
