While there have been quite a few Player Exclusive (PE) Air Jordan releases 2018 this year, the one featured here is quite special. In addition to currently being one of the leading footwear and sportswear company, Nike also happens to be quite charitable as well. You might be aware that Jordan Brand and Nike have been collaborating with OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital since 2007 to raise funds for the young patients there. Every year, they choose six different children from the hospital to design sneakers that join the annual Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. Now, Jordan Brand has provided a similar opportunity to a young Make-A-Wish patient suffering from cancer.
Will Mark Wahlberg‘s latest exculsive sneaker from Jordan Brand end up joining upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018? It likely will not. Being one of Michael Jordan’s oldest friends and having a longstanding relationship with Jordan Brand certainly seem to have its perks. They apparently include receiving exclusive Air Jordan colorways every now and then. This indeed happens to be the case with Mark Wahlberg, who is a diehard Air Jordan fan with a collection worth envying. Although the photo at the top is a recent one, the Air Jordan 4 “Wahlburgers” PE you see in it was actually first seen earlier this year back in June.
The opening night of the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men’s basketball season took place on November 6th, 2018. In the past, there have been complaints that the college basketball’s opening night has not been adequately celebrated, but that is no longer the case. The recent opening night was very eventful, with the highlight being the two top-10 matchups of the 2018 Champions Classic. The Duke Blue Devils dominated opening night and defeated the Kentucky Wildcats with a score of 118-84. However, the Georgetown Hoyas, Marquette Golden Eagles, Michigan Wolverines, and the North Carolina Tar Heels also stood out for being laced up in Air Jordan 33 PEs.
