At this point, sneakerheads are probably quite familiar with the history of the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” that the NBA had banned back in 1984 for violating uniform codes. Back in October of this year, Jordan Brand celebrated that history moment in New York City by setting up a pop-up shop for one day. The pop-up shop was located at 108 Wooster Street and it became the exclusive venue where 500 pairs of the Air Jordan 1 Satin “Banned” were made available to local sneakerheads. One of Jordan Brand’s other New York-exclusive Jordan releases that sneakerheads likely recall was the Air Jordan 1 “NYC,” which is available again. The Air Jordan 10 “NYC” Will Release A Few Days Ahead Of Schedule

Rumors that Jordan Brand was once again working on an Air Jordan “City Pack” had begun spreading back in August 2015. The New York City-inspired and -themed Air Jordan 10 was the first sneaker from the pack to be seen since it was briefly previewed earlier in January this year. In the same month, the Air Jordan 10 “NYC” was fully showcased in detail and many Jordanheads realized that it looks quite similar to the OVO x Air Jordan 10 “Black. The “NYC” iteration from the 2016 City Pack is indeed arriving this month, but not on the same date that had been initially confirmed. Official Photos Of The Air Jordan 10 “NYC” Pop Up After Teaser Surfaces

Jordan Brand had already confirmed, or at least hinted that this year would mark the Jordan releases 2016 of a brand new Air Jordan 10 rendition as part of their second City Pack. As a part of this pack, Jordan Brand will be representing cities like Charlotte, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. The first sneak peek of one of the Air Jordan 10 colorways from the pack, potentially the “NYC” version, was recently provided on Instagram by @zsneakerheadz. Release Dates Of Two Colorways From The Jordan 10 “City Pack” Have Surfaced

2015 has faded away and the New Year has begun, so Jordanheads should prepare themselves for another twelve months full of releases by Jordan Brand of models like the Air Jordan 10. Jordan Brand had started to provide more and more previews of what could be expected this year as far back as Summer 2015. While Jordan Brand has not unveiled it yet, it has become know that this year is scheduled to mark the Jordan release dates 2016 of a brand new “City Pack” consisting of multiple iterations of the Air Jordan 10 that draw inspiration from various regions within the US. After The “NY” Version Public School Creates This Jordan 1 High “Los Angeles”

Back in 2014, Jordan Brand opened a Flight 23 flagship retail store in New York City and in celebration of the occasion; they dropped the Air Jordan 1 Retro High “NYC” exclusively in the Big Apple. The sneaker was a result of the collaborative efforts of both Jordan Brand and Public School, which is the reason that the signature heel branding of the sneaker a “23” and an “NY.” The sneaker was designed to be relatively simple, yet it was somewhat surprising that it was equipped with an icy outsole. Public School and the Swoosh unite once again for the release of yet another Air Jordan 1 Retro High that pays tribute to Los Angeles.
