The comeback of the Air Jordan 14 during this summer’s remaining months had probably been something that most 23 is Back readers had not been expecting at the top 2014. No doubt, the fact that the Air Jordan 14 was the final AJ sneaker worn by Michael Jordan during a championship win certainly makes it worth copping, but the Jordan Flight Time 14.5 pairs are not far behind. In fact, Jordan heads will not even have to keep their eyes peeled for possible Jordan release dates for these kicks since they are already available.
This year, Air Jordan 1 Retro ’99 had paid tribute to the Air Jordan 14 sneaker as well, but eventually the Jordan Flight Time 14.5 also got added to that list. It should be fairly obvious where the Jordan Flight Time 14.5 takes its inspiration and reference from. The construction of the heel and toebox featured on the 14.5 is similar to that of retro Jordan 14, but apparently this is the only similarity between them. 23 is Back readers and Jordan heads all over the world have been having a Spiz’ike summer. Apart from the original Jordan Spizike colorway that has been retroed, this GS “Sport Blue” version also made its retail debut on the same date. Obviously, since these are GS sneakers, so they are for kids and could not be regarded as a nostalgic pair. Alas, adult Jordan heads will have to other 2014 and 2015 Jordan release dates that have already been announced.
As far as “Sport Blue” Jordans that have been released this summer are concerned, this pair is not exactly the star of the show, but it is definitely a treat for small-footed Jordan heads. During this weekend, the Spiz’ike silhouette will also be released in other renditions, such as the OG colorway and the red leather Jordan 6. Readers of 23isBack that it is somewhat Sport blue season at the moment. Apparently, Jordan Brand decided not to leave the Jordan Future behind, all though it is the mesh-upper version of the sneaker that gets to don this particular hue, that too only on the soles. Of course, the sport blue color cannot be spotted on the inner lining and the tongue too. For Jordan heads who had actually been hoping for a “Sport Blue” Air Jordan Future to arrive, August 27 will be one of the Jordan release dates 2014 on which they will be headed off to a nearby sneaker retail store.
Over the years, the colors that have been spotted on the soles of the Air Jordan 11 have been reasonably limited. However, despite having been inspired from the Jordan 11, the soles of the Air Jordan Future have not been restricted to selective colors only. Over these past couple of months ever since this model made its debut, the icy bottoms of this sneaker have shown up in a variety of colors.
