This year, not many colorways of the Air Jordan Future have made their retail debut, but now that summer is almost here, Jordan Brand like has plans that ensure that the Jordan Future makes its comeback with full force. Even though the Air Jordan Future has not been under the spotlight in 2015, Jordanheads had their hands full as one colorway after another arrived at retailers. Although not on a similar scale, the Jordan Future is returning since two new colorways seem likely to hit the shelves on on one of the Jordan release dates 2015.
Even though the Air Jordan Future will indeed see the light of day, it will be the lowtop form of the model that sneakerheads will be able to cop. The first iteration that may or may not be up for grabs this year is actually a sample with the original woven design, i.e. the new jordans features a mesh upper, which makes it quite unique. Up till now, none of the lowtop renditions of the silhouette featured the mesh construction that was introduced with very first pair. The weave grants the upper a woven pattern consisting of the Anthracite and Black hues. This sample also maintains its Air Jordan 11 inspiration by having an identical Teal outsole resting beneath a white midsole, also adding some color to this sneaker.
The other colorway of the Jordan Future is not really a sample, but a pair that may make its retail debut earlier than the above one and it takes its inspiration from the New York Yankees. The upper, including the laces and the tongue, of this version is also woven and dressed up in a navy blue hue, but it sports more of the beehive-like weave that was seen on later Future iterations. Much like the official colors of the New York Yankees, the eyelets and inner lining is in grey while the midsole and Air Jordan 11-outsole are covered in white.
Regardless of whether or not Jordanheads (including 23 is Back readers) will able to get their hands these two Jordan Future colorways soon enough, the color combinations appear to be perfect for the summer season. There is no clue if Jordan Brand will even announce any potential Jordan release dates 2015 to be associated with these Air Jordan Future sneakers, especially the one that is a sample, but sneakerheads can still hope for it.
