By now, sneakerheads have probably become accustomed to the fact that Jordan Brand tends to recycle specific retro colorways every couple of years, but this is not always the case. Every now and then, the Jumpman also decides to bring back certain rare kicks from deep within the vault. One such rare sneaker that they dropped once again on March 19th of this year was Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Metallic Blue,” which received the retro treatment for the very first time. Jordan Brand Has Dropped Three New Jordan 1 High Colorways But They’re GS-Sized

Despite the fact that the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 30 was last year, it seems that Jordan Brand will carry on with the celebration of their first signature sneaker’s rich history this year too. Last year, numerous OG colorways of the Air Jordan 1 had received the “Remastered” treatment and apparently, the same trend will continue this year too with the Air Jordan 1 iterations Jordan Brand will drop in 2016. It already seems that this year will mark the Jordan release date 2016 of a great deal of Air Jordan 1 High renditions in OG form, even including some GS ones that have already arrived. The AJ1 Retro High OG “Metallic Navy” Will Finally Be Retro-ed In 2016

Way back in 1985, numerous different iconic OG colorways of the Air Jordan 1 had made their retail debut, such as the “Bred,” the “Chicago” and the “Royal” colorways. However, they were not the only ones. There were actually several other iterations of Jordan Brand first silhouette that have never been brought back over the years for one reason or another. One such rendition is the Air Jordan 1 “Metallic Navy” that has never been retroed in the past but it is now being rumored that its Jordan release date 2016 is all set for next year.
