A few of Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan releases 2018 from this year were a part of Finish Line’s recent restock lineup for Cyber Monday. It turns out that Cyber Monday 2018 broke online sales record, racking up the most online sales ever in history. Shoppers spent over $7.8 billion on this year’s Cyber Monday, which was 18.3% compared to what they spent on Cyber Monday in 2017. Of course, the best shopping deals had already popped up on Black Friday, which was not far behind in terms of online sales. Since Cyber Monday is one of the biggest annual shopping days, Finish Line restocked four different Air Jordan colorways.
For readers who perhaps do not know, Cyber Monday is basically the first Monday after Thanksgiving and the last Monday of November. Thanksgiving was celebrated in the United States on November 23rd, 2017. It also happens to be the second “discount day” after Thanksgiving, the first one being Black Friday, where most of the discounts are available at actual retailers and stores. Cyber Monday largely revolves around online deals and discounts, although it is not uncommon to find great offline deals and discounts as well. It seems that Jordan Brand might be dropping a special sneaker on Cyber Monday, which actually supposed to be among the Jordan releases 2018. Black Friday marked the highly-anticipated return of the Air Jordan 3 OG 88 “True Blue,” which joined Holiday 2016’s Air Jordan releases by arriving at retailers like Finish Line and Nike SNKRS. Unexpectedly though, the sneaker began to hit the shelves at certain retailers on November 23rd. Boutiques through the United States like Oneness and Trophy Room had the sneaker available earlier than its scheduled release. As for sneakerheads who did not or were not able to cop a pair of the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue,” they will have to opportunity to grab something special if they did not already buy original Air Jordan 3 “Cyber Monday.” Continue reading Jordan Brand’s Cyber Monday Release Is This Variation Of The Air Jordan 31
The origin of Nike’s “What The” series can be traced back to skateboarding, but soon it became a part of basketball as well, and eventually even found its way into soccer too. Each of Nike’s “What The” sneakers has always been a hybrid with a mixed and matched combination of various colorways, inspirations and themes. Much like Jordan Brand’s Spizike, the “What The” series has been one of Nike’s most most recognizable and Nike has made use of the concept rather excessively. While Nike intends to give the Mercurial Superfly the “What The” treatment, Jordan Brand also has a “What The” sneaker in the works. Apparently, Jordan Brand may have developed a bit of a fondness incorporating wool into brand new iterations of their most popular sneaker models. Along making an announcement in February of this year about the return of the Air Jordan 3 OG ’88 “True Blue,” Jordan Brand also revealed that 2016’s Cyber Monday release would be a black and white, wool-clad Air Jordan 3. The very next month, news emerged that the Air Jordan 12 would also be receiving a woolen makeover at some point this year. While the sneaker’s release date had been somewhere confirmed last month in May, now an actual photo has also surfaced. It is apparently safe to state that the Air Jordan 3 model is officially making its comeback by the end of this year. Footwear brands tend to drop some of the finest releases of the year on Black Friday and this year’s Black Friday Jordan releases is going to be that of the Air Jordan 3 OG “True Blue”. Coincidentally, Nike Sportswear’s Digital Brand Manager who recently quit also received a special pair of the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” as a farewell gift. To further sweeten things up, the Jumpman apparently planning to drop another Air Jordan 3 rendition on Cyber Monday.
A never-before-seen colorway of the Air Jordan 3 is also a part of a new “Kobe Pack” by Jordan Brand, accompanying an Air Jordan 8. The Air Jordan 3 iteration from the pack is apparently sporting an “Away” color scheme, while Gold and Purple accents inspired by the Los Angeles Lakers appear as a part of the signature Cement Elephant print that it features. The Air Jordan 3 rendition that the Jumpman apparently intend to drop on Cyber Monday might look somewhat similar, although they are not the same colorways. In fact, this “Cyber Monday” version will likely more monochromatic than the one from the “Kobe Pack”.
Air Jordan 3 that will not hit the shelves until later this year can be expected to resemble the “Cyber Monday” colorway of the Air Jordan from last year. As of now, no photos of this Air Jordan 3 “Cyber Monday” have been leaked or officially published; it is not yet possible to state what the sneaker will look like. However, since it is being referred to as a “Cyber Monday” colorway, so it can be expected to hit the shelves on November 28th.
It is also being rumored that it will not be featuring the Nike Air logo on its heel and its retail price will apparently be $190. Therefore, stay tuned to 23isBack to get the latest updates from Jordan Brand regarding the Jordan release 2016 of the Air Jordan 3 “Cyber Monday”.
