Even if you do not own a pair, most of you likely remember the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard,” which made its retail debut on June 27th, 2015 at a price of $160. Its nickname was a reference to when Michael Jordan when he shattered a glass backboard as a result of a dunk he made during an Italian exhibition game back in 1986. The color scheme of this iteration was inspired by the colors of the uniform that Michael Jordan wore during that game. This latest Air Jordan 1 Low colorway borrows the color blocking and scheme of the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” and features Flyknit uppers. This Air Jordan 1 Satin “Shattered Backboard” Will Be A Limited Women’s Exclusive

Many of the sneakerheads reading this may recall the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard,” the colorway that made its retail debut back on June 27th, 2015 at a price of $160. This brand new colorway was among one of the many Air Jordan releases that Jordan Brand dropped that year in commemoration of the brand’s 30th anniversary. The sneaker ended up being released via Nike’s online raffle system. The very next year, in October 2016, Jordan Brand dropped the Air Jordan 1 “Reverse Shattered Backboard.” It seems that the Air Jordan releases 2018 will also include the “Shattered Backboard” colorway, this time over the Air Jordan 1 Satin.
