The opening night of the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men’s basketball season took place on November 6th, 2018. In the past, there have been complaints that the college basketball’s opening night has not been adequately celebrated, but that is no longer the case. The recent opening night was very eventful, with the highlight being the two top-10 matchups of the 2018 Champions Classic. The Duke Blue Devils dominated opening night and defeated the Kentucky Wildcats with a score of 118-84. However, the Georgetown Hoyas, Marquette Golden Eagles, Michigan Wolverines, and the North Carolina Tar Heels also stood out for being laced up in Air Jordan 33 PEs.
It is about time that college basketball made its comeback and it has finally arrived. The long awaited NCAA games are now underway, which means that many of the college basketball teams that readers here admire have started to make this season’s on-court appearances.
