The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG WMNS “Panda” has been officially unveiled and it will be joining next month’s Air Jordan releases 2019. If you do not pay sufficient attention, the colorway you see here may look similar to the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Dynamic Yellow.” Their color schemes are indeed similar if not the same, but of course, the latter features a deconstructed look, with two missing Nike “Swoosh” logos while the other two are covered in a Dynamic Yellow shade. In the case of the Air Jordan 1 High “Panda” though, it is a women’s exclusive and it features a pony hair-like material.
The Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” is returning to join this year’s Air Jordan releases 2019, but this time as a women’s exclusive in satin form. The “Black Toe” is one of the most popular colorways of the Air Jordan 1. Much like the “Banned / Bred” colorway, which is also making a comeback this year, it was also originally released back in 1985. In the past two decades, the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” has returned twice before, just three years apart, once back in May 2013 and later in November 2016. However, this is the first time it has received the satin treatment.
One of this year’s Air Jordan releases 2019 for Black Friday will be the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bred,” which is apparently returning. It might have surprised you, at least a bit, that Jordan Brand is bringing back not one but two original “Bred” colorways this year. Of course, the other one is the returning Air Jordan 4 “Bred.” Jordan Brand has official confirmed that it is indeed hitting the shelves next month and unveiled actual, detailed photos of this year’s version. The Air Jordan 4 “Bred” makes its comeback on May 4th. The Air Jordan 1 High “Banned” or “Bred” returns during the 2019 Holiday Season.
As always, it seems that this year’s Air Jordan releases 2019 will include an abundance of brand new Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways. However, the never-before-seen Air Jordan 1 colorway that you see above will apparently not be one of them. The colorway has been nicknamed “Philia Unite.” Collaborative designed by UBIQ, this Air Jordan 1 iteration celebrates the finale of the Philadelphia 76ers’ 2018–19 regular season. The 76ers just played their last game of the season against the Chicago Bulls and scored a 125-109 victory. Just 10 pairs of this Air Jordan 1 “Philia Unite” have been created, exclusively for celebrity fans of the team.
The latest Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG iteration to join upcoming Air Jordan releases 2019 will be dressed up in a “UNC” color scheme. Of course, this is not the first time that Jordan Brand has released an Air Jordan 1 iteration that draws inspiration from Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina. While the color blocking and scheme of these iterations has always varied over the years, they usually always feature the hue that has become known as Carolina Blue, also referred to as University Blue. The Air Jordan 1 colorway seen here looks almost exactly like another “UNC” iteration that recently hit the shelves.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorway will finally be making its retail debut among the Air Jordan releases 2019 next month. Shortly before the NBA All-Star Weekend, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 33 NRG “Army Olive” made its retail debut on Valentine’s Day, i.e. February 14th, 2019. Not too long after that, Travis Scoot shared photos in which he was seen holding and wearing in a never-before-seen Nike Air Force 1 Low colorway, though there has been no news about its potential arrival. However, his Air Jordan 1 colorway first mentioned in this post will finally hit the shelves early next month.
