This month’s Air Jordan releases 2018 will include an Air Jordan 10 colorway designed collaboratively by Jordan Brand and Maya Moore. The 4–time WBNA champion has a long history of teaming up with Jordan Brand, which dates back to 2011 when they whipped up three different PE iterations of the Jordan Fly Wade for her. She has also received two Air Jordan 10 PE colorways in the past, namely a “Championship” iteration back in 2012 and another iteration that was a part of 2017’s Maya Moore x Jordan Brand Collection. Maya Moore’s latest Air Jordan 10 colorway probably looks familiar since it resembles Aleali May’s Air Jordan 1 “Viotech.”
The Air Jordan 1 colorway inspired by Spider–Man: Into the Spider–Verse is joining this month’s upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018. Over the years, there have been several custom Air Jordan pairs inspired by the Marvel superhero, Spider-Man. For instance, sneaker customizer Sekure D designed an Air Jordan 6 “Spider-Man” back in September 2014. Earlier that year, even Nike officially released the Foamposite Pro “Spider-Man,” which made its retail debut on February 8th, 2014 at a price of $250. The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorway draws inspiration from the Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse animated film and is being released in celebration of its upcoming release.
Since the weather continues to get colder, here’s a look at some of Jordan Brand’s recent and upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018 for winter. Last month, Jordan Brand introduced the Air Jordan 1 “Utility” Pack as a part of their Women’s Holiday 2018 lineup. The pack included three of the re-interpreted Air Jordan 1 models from the “Reimagined” Collection that debuted at the beginning of this year. These models were the Air Jordan 1 High Zip WMNS, Air Jordan 1 Jester WMNS, and the Air Jordan 1 Rebel WMNS. In addition to these, the “Utility” Pack also included a winter-ready iteration of the Air Jordan 1 High WMNS.
One of the major recent Air Jordan releases 2018 is getting restocked this coming weekend after it sold-out upon its retail debut. Jordan Brand and Los Angeles–based men’s store Union astonished everyone with their recent, unexpected collaboration. This collaboration came to fruition on November 24th, 2018 with the release of two Union x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways, which retailed at a price of $190 at UnionJordan.com. A launch event also took place at a secret location. In case you were not able to cop a pair of both or either of the two Union x Air Jordan 1 colorways, they are getting restocked.
It seems a brand new, unnamed colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is going to among Jordan Brand‘s Air Jordan releases 2019. It cannot be denied that there has been a surplus of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG releases from Jordan Brand in recent times. As of lately, there have also been a number of special and unique ones. These include the Union x Air Jordan 1 colorways and the SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 that will be releasing at the 2018 Art Basel. The Air Jordan 1 colorway featured here may not look unique at first glance, but it features one never-before-seen detail.
Jordan Brand seems to have once again drawn inspiration from Michael Jordan‘s Alma mater for one of next year’s Air Jordan releases 2019. Of course, this is not the first time that an Air Jordan 1 colorway has been inspired by the North Carolina Tar Heels. In fact, the OFF–WHITE x Air Jordan 1 “UNC” made its retail debut earlier this year, on June 19th, at a price of $190. The Air Jordan 1 has also featured patent leather in the past. However, it is after quite a long time that Jordan Brand will be releasing a premium Air Jordan 1 rendition completely made up of patent leather.
