The Jordan Son of Mars is a hybrid design from Jordan Brand in the same vein as the Jordan Spiz’ike. The name references Spike Lee’s “Mars Blackmon” character frequently featured in Air Jordan ad spots, with the sneaker itself grabbing design elements from all of the Air Jordan models Spike played a part in promoting: the Air Jordan 3, 4, 5, 6, and 20.

Starting from the ground up, this hybrid sneaker utilizes the Air Jordan 5 midsole, and Air Jordan III mudguard, toe, and heel, and an upper that fuses the Air Jordan 20 and the Air Jordan 6.
