The Air Jordan 9 Will Be Receiving The “Bred” Treatment In March 2018

October 18th, 2017 came and went, and the Air Jordan 32 and Air Jordan 32 Low “Bred (Banned)” officially became available. The Air Jordan 32 iteration looked darker and sleeker due to its exclusively Black and Red color scheme, with the exception of its icy, translucent outsoles. The Air Jordan 32 Low sported a balanced combination of Black, Red and White. Both the Air Jordan 32 and Air Jordan 32 Low “Bred (Banned)” should still be available at their respective retail prices of $185 and $160. However, it seems that Jordan Brand has plans to drop another Bred-themed sneaker, which will be joining next year’s Jordan releases 2018.

“Bred” is arguably one of the most common and popular nicknames for sneakers, which has exclusively been used by Jordan Brand for its myriad of similar-looking colorways inspired by the Chicago Bulls. It is also a fact that to quite an extent, it is the nickname of a sneaker that makes it appealing and creates hype, and “Bred” has always succeeded in accomplishing that. Some of the most memorable and unforgettable moments of Michael Jordan’s illustrious professional basketball career happened when he was playing for the Chicago Bulls. Therefore, the Bred color scheme and the context behind it definitely matters.

Yet another of Jordan Brand’s signature models that will be the latest one to receive the Bred treatment is none other than the Air Jordan 9. Readers will agree that the Air Jordan 9 looks rather sleek in this particular color scheme, as can be seen in these photos that were shared on Instagram by Sneaker Info. (@pinoe77). The uppers of this Air Jordan 9 are predominantly made up of leather, with patent leather covering its mudguards and space above its midsoles. Overall, this sneaker appears to be dressed up predominantly in Anthracite and Black, with University Red-colored detailing visible throughout, giving it the Bred-themed look.

While it is true that the Air Jordan 32 and Air Jordan 32 Low “Bred (Banned)” just made their retail debut recently, there is plenty of time since this upcoming will be among next year’s Air Jordan releases 2018. In fact, reports and rumors suggest that the Air Jordan 9 “Bred” will be arriving next year on March 10th, 2018 and will apparently retail at a price of $190.
