One of Jordan Brand’s Cyber Monday releases for this year included the Air Jordan 31 “Black Cat.” Not only that, the Air Jordan 31 silhouette actually received the premium treatment for the online shopping holiday. Even though the Air Jordan 31 is a performance-oriented model, Jordan Brand still chose it as the latest installment to their popular “Black Cat” line. While it is probably obvious that it is nearly all-Black, its uppers were made up of nubuck and quilted leather, and its was equipped with all-White soles. Of course, Jordan Brand has every intention of carrying on the line and the Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat” is proof of that.
Another example is the Air Jordan 13 “Black Cat” and the model itself is actually perfect to sport the color scheme since it was inspired by a black panther. The idea for both the Air Jordan 13 and this line came from Michael Jordan’s “Black Cat” nickname and so the predator that the G.O.A.T. was compared to ended up becoming the source of inspiration. The Air Jordan 13 will mark the latest addition to the “Black Cat” line since it does not arrive at retailers until next year. In fact, its retail debut is already scheduled to take place on January 21st, 2017.
As for the Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat,” it will hit the shelves by the time December and 2016 come to an end. Its nickname makes it quite apparent that its leather uppers will be dressed up entirely in ominous Black, while laces and side panels feature feature 3M accents, while its ankles, side panels and toe boxes happen to be perforated. Last but not least, this sneaker is also equipped with all-White midsoles and translucent Black-colored outsoles.
Although sneakerheads know about the Air Jordan 13 “Black,” Jordan Brand might actually have further plans for the “Black Cat” line. For the time being though, sneakerheads can look forward to copping a pair or more of the Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat” at a price of $190 on December 30th.
