Jordan Brand officially unveiled the three sneakers from the “International Flight” Pack back in June, as a part of its Fall lineup of Air Jordan releases 2018. Of course, unofficial photos of the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 5 and the Air Jordan 12 from the pack had already been leaked online months before. By the end of June, Jordan Brand also revealed that each colorway would be hitting the shelves along with a matching jersey. The Air Jordan 3 Retro “International Flight” already made its retail debut on June 30th, 2018 for $190. Next up is the Air Jordan 5, which is on its way to retailers.
Jordan Brand’s “International Flight” Pack
The Air Jordan 3 from the pack was designed by drawing inspiration from a charity game for the United Negro College Fund back in 1988 in which Michael Jordan scored 54 points and raised $650,000. Its tumbled leather uppers were dressed up in a combination of Grey, Fire Red, Sport Royal and White, in addition to its signature elephant print overlays. The design of the Air Jordan 12 from the pack was inspired by a trip that Michael Jordan made to Tokyo for a hoops clinic back in the summer of 1996. The Air Jordan 12 “International Flight” will make its retail debut on September 8th, 2018 for $190.
The Air Jordan 5 “International Flight”
The upcoming Air Jordan 5 from the “International Flight” Pack draws inspiration from a Summer exhibition game from August 1990 played in Barcelona, Spain, in which Michael Jordan scored 37 points. Overall, this Air Jordan 5 iteration is dressed up in a combination of Black, Hyper Royal, Orange Peel and Sail. The graphics on the inner lining and beneath the quarter panel mesh are inspired by the street art of Barcelona. The matching jersey that will be accompanying it is also inspired by the city’s street art. This Air Jordan 5 “International Flight” is set to make its retail debut on August 28th, 2018 at a price of $190.
