It was at the very beginning of this year in January when the most detailed photos of the Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle “Black” had been posted on mysole.net. It was the very first Pinnacle iteration of the Air Jordan 4 and the luxurious construction of the sneaker had made it obvious that Jordan Brand had paid a particularly greater amount of attention to it than they have focused upon its traditional counterpart in the past. The all-Back, croc-tumbled leather uppers topped with faux Black-colored pony hair further accentuated its lifestyle aesthetics. Eight months later, the latest Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle will soon be on its way to retailers.
So far, there has technically only been one official Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle release, unless the Air Jordan 4 PRM “Snakeskin” is also regarded as a Pinnacle rendition. Even if it is not considered an official Pinnacle version, it still boasted a premium construction. The defining feature of the sneaker had been its snakeskin uppers, which were dressed up in a combination of Bone, Pure Platinum and White, while its signature nettings, toeboxes and tongues featured tonal leather accents. Jordan Brand had dropped the Air Jordan 4 PRM “Snakeskin” back on May 21st.
As sneakerheads are likely aware, one of the things that Jordan Brand’s Pinnacle releases have in common is their hefty $400 price tag, which was the case with the sneakers mentioned above. Furthermore, there are actually two more Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle colorways that are supposed to be on their way, but the release details of only one of them have been confirmed. It is the Air Jordan 4 Premium “Obsidian.” From the numerous photos of this sneaker that are now available online, it can be seen that it has quilted leather uppers that are dressed up in the Obsidian hue with all-White soles and Metallic Gold-colored accents.
The other Pinnacle release mentioned above is the Air Jordan 4 Premium “Ginger” or “Wheat,” but Jordan Brand has not given any hints as to when it will arrive. As for this Air Jordan 4 Premium “Obsidian,” it is scheduled to hit the shelves on September 17th and as usual, its retail price will be $400.
