Jordan Brand‘s latest signature sneaker model finally made its retail debut, joining the Air Jordan releases 2018 last month. This model was the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 33, which was officially introduced on September 20th, 2018. The Air Jordan 33 initially arrived exclusively in China in the “Tech Pack” colorway. It eventually became available worldwide on October 18th, 2018 in the “Future Flight” colorway, which retailed at a price of $175. The colorway was named after its “Future of Flight” tagline. Following its release, you have already seen a couple of Air Jordan 33 PEs. The next Air Jordan 33 colorway to hit the shelves will be the “Visible Utility.”
The Air Jordan 33 Is Geared For The Future Of Flight
It was Tate Kuerbis, Jordan Brand‘s senior footwear designer, who designed the Air Jordan 33. The highlight of the model is its innovative FastFit tightening system, which Nike describes as a “racing harness” for the wearer’s foot. The uppers of the Air Jordan 33 consist of lightweight textile, with overlays made up of leather and synthetic materials. It is also equipped with FlightSpeed technology, which has been fine-tuned for comfort and propulsion. The design of the Air Jordan 33 and its Flight Utility aspect was inspired by space suits. Tate Kuerbis particularly focused on functionality and purposefulness when designing it, from the materials to the colors.
The Air Jordan 33 “Visible Utility” Looks Bright & Neutral
This iteration of the Air Jordan 33 is dressed up in a combination of contrasting bright and grounded neutral hues. Its color scheme apparently draws inspiration from previous Nike ACG colorways. The predominant hue is Desert Ore, which appears over most of the mesh base of its uppers and one of the side overlays. Other contrasting hues that can be spotted include Black, Dark Concord, Infrared, Obsidian 23, Particle Beige, University Red and White. Furthermore, its midsoles are covered in Grey, and feature cement-inspired Black– and White-colored speckles. As mentioned, this colorway is going to be among the upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018 in a couple of days.
