Sneakerheads who are knowledgeable enough about Jordan Brand’s release calendar and practices will likely know that February been an integral month for quite some time. For the past few years at least, Jordan Brand has unveiled the next installment in the Air Jordan line during the All-Star Weekend, but that did not happen this year. Therefore, it seems that the Air Jordan 32 will be unveiled next year and will eventually end up joining the Air Jordan releases 2018. Of course, 2017 is far from over and there are still plenty of noteworthy Air Jordan releases 2017 that sneakerheads should be looking forward to.
Not too long ago, Jordan Brand dropped quite a few sneakers that featured the All-Star theme, such as the Air Jordan 12 Low “Playoff.” They recently dropped a special Air Jordan 1 in celebration and honor of Black History Month. Many original and OG-inspired colorways have also been scheduled to make a comeback this year, including the Air Jordan 8 “Alternate” and Air Jordan 13 “True Red.” One of February’s most anticipated Air Jordan releases 2017 was the Air Jordan 12 OVO “Black” that sneakerheads were hoping to cop ever since they saw Drake rocking it back in 2013.
Last year, Tinker Hatfield revealed that he had started sketching the design for the Air Jordan 30 back in February 2015. As sneakerheads may recall though, the Air Jordan 30 was not unveiled until January 2016. Apparently, he was not as rushy when designing the Air Jordan 31 nor has he hopefully been while working on the Air Jordan 32. According to Tinker, completing the Air Jordan 30 was among the first steps he took towards beginning designing the Air Jordan 31 and 32.
Even though the Air Jordan 32 has not been unveiled yet and may not be unveiled in 2017 at all, Tinker actually begun designing it soon after he completed the Air Jordan 31 in 2016. Thus, stay tuned to remain updated about the latest news related to Air Jordan releases 2017 and 2018.
