23 is Back readers and Jordan heads everywhere should feel blessed because it seems that Jordan Brand apparently has a soft spot for them this year, considering all the dope Air Jordans that have been released this year. Sneaker enthusiasts who have an ever-increasing list of 2014 and 2015 Jordan release dates will probably agree with this especially after looking at this Air Jordan 13 “Grey Toe.”
Indeed, all the Air Jordan sneakers that have been released till date have been a must-cop, and Jordan heads will likely have spent more than a thousand dollars by the time 2014 comes to an end. After all, here is another rumor that might be seen this year. According to rumors, this coming November will mark the retail debut of the Air Jordan 13 “Grey Toe.” Although there has not been an official confirmation from Jordan Brand, November 15 is apparently its likely release date.
Back in early 2005 when the “Grey Toe” had been as a Retro, it became a coveted sneaker and an old classic. However, this year’s “Grey Toe” release is more like the OG sample rather than the Retro, featuring a nubuck/suede material. The upper is in white nubuck leather with dark red suede finishes. Unlike the Retro that had a white tongue, both the toe box and tongue of this year’s version are in grey. Moreover, the red of the outsole will not bleed into the white midsole since it is painted on.
No doubt, the Air Jordan 13 appears to be quite different from its nearly 10-year-old predecessor. However, it is likely that avid Jordan heads will grow fond of it and for those who were not able to get their hands on the Retro back in 2015, they get a chance to cop it this year. If that is the case, then November 15 might make its way into the official 2014 Jordan release dates very soon.
