Among this year’s 2014 Jordan release dates, another date of release has lined up, this time for the non-OG “Black/Red” colorway of the Air Jordan 13, which is also being called “Dirty Bred.” A December 2014 release is scheduled for this new jordans since it was spotted amongst the kicks revealed by Jordan Brand during the Holiday 2014 Preview. As 23 is Back readers probably notice, this new pair has been inspired from the classic “Bred” construction, while the tumbled leather upper that has been used is identical to the Playoff 13s.
This non-OG colorway is certainly not a custom as it may to be, which means that it will be making a retail debut later in 2014. Even though it is not an O.G. colorway, it sure could pass as one. Considering that there is already an Air Jordan 13 “Bred” out there, it is understandable why this colorway is being dubbed “Dirty Bred.” After all, its black and red upper is quite Bred-like.
What 23isBack readers may find even more surprising about this pair are the materials that have been utilized. The tumbled leather that gives this pair a dimpled upper might certainly seem familiar. It is more than likely that it was borrowed and/inspired from the Air Jordan 13 “He Got Games/Playoff.” Even more OG allure is added by the suede panels. The black soles have hints of red on the pods and the Jumpan branding on the tongues are also in red, giving this nearly all-black sneaker some contrast.
Many sneaker heads on 23 is Back may have likely been yearning for such a black and white variant of the Air Jordan 13. Even though it has not exactly been dubbed “Bred,” its look definitely lives up to the moniker. An official date of release has not been announced by Jordan Brand yet, but obviously, one of the Holiday 2014 Jordan release dates is likely for this Air Jordan 13 “Black/Red.”
