One of this past weekend’s biggest Jordan releases was that of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Black Toe.” Many sneakerheads may not have been able to cop a pair, fortunately this week, they will be able to get their hands on a premium suede iteration of the Air Jordan 12, namely the “Deep Royal Blue” colorway. Nike has even published official photos of the sneaker, which is entirely dressed up in the Deep Royal Blue, while Metallic Blue can be spotted over the upper eyelets. At the same time, it seems that the Air Jordan 12 Low will also receive the suede treatment next year.
Sneakerheads may or may not know that the Air Jordan releases 2017 will include several different, brand new renditions of the Air Jordan 12 Low. The very first one that was unveiled this year was the Air Jordan 12 Low “Playoff,” which literally looks like a low-top version of the regular Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” from 1996. Other upcoming colorways of the low-top silhouette for next year that have been unveiled include a nearly all-Grey iteration and quite a few photos of a “Max Orange” rendition have also been surfacing as of lately, which is apparently going to retail for $170 in January 2017.
If sneakerheads recall, the tonal Dark Grey-colored PSNY x Air Jordan 12 that had hit the shelves back on December 12, 2015 had also featured premium suede uppers. Even though plenty of Air Jordan 12 Low colorways are on their way next year, but none of them have uppers made up of suede, until now. As can be seen, the suede uppers of the Air Jordan 12 Low featured here are dressed up in a vibrant Red hue, while Black appears over the heel tabs, inner linings, Jordan branding, laces, mudguards and the rear of the midsoles.
Even though no Air Jordan 12 Low colorways arrived at retailers this year, this will obviously change next year. This “Red Suede” colorway joins Spring 2017’s other Air Jordan 12 Low releases.
