November 11 is scheduled to mark the opening of Nike SoHo, the brand’s latest retail experience in New York City. It is a digitally connected, 55,000-square-foot, five-story and multi-sport store in the SoHo neighborhood at 529 Broadway. Nike has designed the store so its consumers may gain access to the brand’s finest products and some special services as well. At Nike SoHo, consumers will receive an immersive, innovative and unique experiences through a vast team of well-trained in-store experts. Upon its launch, some of the most anticipated, upcoming Jordan Brand and Nike releases will also be up on display at the store, along with several early releases and restocks.
Nike is apparently aiming to transform sport retail, so that its most unrivaled experiences, products and services become available to consumers under one roof. Nike SoHo is being described as not just a store, but more a personal sport experience. Nike SoHo includes a variety of unparalleled spaces like Nike By NYC, Nike+ Running and Basketball Trials, Nike+ Soccer Trial Zone, The Lounge and The Stands, all of which are individual service destinations within the store. However, the Nike+ SNKRS experience, a 54-foot wide wall displaying Nike Sportswear footwear, is the one that will attract all the sneakerheads. It is the largest of its kind among Nike’s global stores.
Among all of the brand’s stores worldwide, Nike SoHo also has the most immense in-season collection of the classic and coveted Air Force 1 model. As mentioned, numerous special releases are also scheduled to take place there once the store is officially opened. These will include the John Elliott x Nike LeBron Soldier 10 and the Air Force 1 Low “NYC HS.” Plenty of Jordan Brand’s releases will also get restocked there and several upcoming ones will make an early retail debut. Reportedly, the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” will also be up on display within the store, but it is unlikely that visitors will be able to cop it.
