Even though 2018 is not exactly a special year for the Air Jordan 11, a lot seems to have been happening, revolving around this particular model from Jordan Brand’s signature line. Jordan Brand is bringing back the Air Jordan 11 “Concord,” which will once again feature the number “45” like the original. Jordan Brand is bringing back the Air Jordan 11 Low IE in three brand new colorways later this month. Jordan Brand has even transformed the Air Jordan 11 into football cleats. Now, it seems that brand new retro colorway of the model dubbed “Platinum Tint” will be joining the Air Jordan releases 2018 later this year.
The Air Jordan 11’s Recent & Upcoming Releases
Near the end of July, select users of the Nike SNKRS App received notifications that provided them exclusive access to particular sneakers that had been restocked. These included the Air Jordan 11 “Cap And Gown.” As mentioned, the Air Jordan 11 Low IE is also returning in three brand new colorways dubbed “Flash Crimson,” “Ghost Green” and “Rio Teal.” All three of these colorways will be among this month’s Air Jordan releases and will likely retail at the same price. Of course, the biggest Air Jordan 11 release of this year is the “Concord,” which makes its comeback during the Holiday Season on December 8th, 2018.
The Air Jordan 11 Retro “Platinum Tint”
It has become somewhat of an annual tradition for Jordan Brand to release a special Air Jordan 11 colorway during the Holiday Season and for this year, they are bringing back the “Concord.” As you can see though, in the photo that was shared on Instagram by @zSneakerHeadz, the Air Jordan 11 “Platinum Tint” is relatively simpler and subtle. The uppers of this seemingly all-White iteration actually dressed up in Platinum Tint and Sail, with Black- and Red-colored detailing. It is also equipped with milky outsoles. This colorway will hit the shelves before the Holiday Season, joining October’s Air Jordan releases 2018, and will retail for $220.
