Sneakerheads may have read about the Air Jordan restock that recently went down online on Eastbay’s official website. However, this was not the only restock that happened this month. In the beginning of last week, Finishline restocked the Air Jordan 11 “Win Like ’82” that Jordan Brand dropped in 2017 to commemorate Michael Jordan’s NCAA Championship. A couple of days later, there was another restock at Finishline, which included this sneaker and several others. Among those sneakers was the Air Jordan 1 “Gold Toe,” Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement,” Air Jordan 11 “Win Like ’96” and the Air Jordan 11 Low IE “Gym Red.” That’s not all.
It turns out that Spring’s Air Jordan releases 2018 will include Air Jordan 11 Low baseball cleats. Considering Michael Jordan’s love for baseball and his brief career in the sport, it is not unusual that Jordan Brand has been whipping up baseball cleats every now and then. Back in 2017, Jordan Brand even dropped baseball gloves-like iterations of the Air Jordan 9. Of course, that was merely a colorway and was not meant to be worn on the diamond. However, these Air Jordan Low variations are actual cleats. They both appear to have predominantly clean White-colored uppers and all-White-colored midsoles, while Blue and Red appear as secondary hues, respectively.
Jordan Brand is known for dropping numerous Air Jordan 11 Reto releases during the Summer season. Sneakerheads may already know about the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey.” To celebrate Easter Sunday, Jordan Brand will also be dropping a special Air Jordan 11 Low colorway. Seen above is Derek Jeter’s Air Jordan 11 Low “RE2PECT.” Last year, Jordan Brand had whipped up merely 5 pairs of another Derek Jeter-exclusive Air Jordan 11 “Navy Suede.” This low-top variation looks almost identical, featuring entirely Navy Blue-colored suede uppers and waxed laces, all-White midsoles and icy, translucent outsoles. The heels have Derek Jeter’s number “2” embroidered over them, while “RE2PECT” and “2” can be spotted over the left and right outsoles, respectively.
While it is an actual release, Jordan Brand will actually drop the Air Jordan 11 Low “Easter” on April Fo’ls’ Day, i.e. April 1st, 2018 and it will retail at a price of $175. The Air Jordan 11 Low “Cool Grey” is scheduled to make its retail debut on May 26th, 2018 at a price of $175 too. The Air Jordan 11 Low Baseball Cleats featured above will also likely arrive at retailers somewhere during Spring. As for the premium Air Jordan 11 Low “Derek Jeter RE2PECT,” it is still uncertain if it is an exclusive with only limited pairs, although rumors suggest that it may actually hit the shelves this year.
