On several occasions when Nike sees a particular release to perform well with the sneaker fans and public at large there is a release of a colorway or model that will have inspirations from the successful release. Not only that, Nike doesn’t stop at just making it resemble the successful model, but makes an even more improved version of the successful release. This had added quite the value to Nike Air Classic BW “Textile” and had made it look cooler than it already proved to be. Similarly, the upcoming Air Jordan 11 “Heiress” also mimics an Air Jordan 1 colorway and has uppers made up of a textile.
The Air Classic’s release of a textile colorway was inspired by the Stash release of the Classic BW. These kicks featured an upper made up of smooth leather with a gray mesh surface. The gray mesh surface incorporated in the upper provided plenty of breathing space along with supplementing a cool design and look. The lower half of the upper was colored in textile gray with the Nike Swoosh visible on the sides having a white fill in. The laces were in navy blue color, the inner linings also featured a dragon red hue and the midsole were colored in white to match it.
The Air Jordan 11 “Heiress” actually looks like an exact replica of the Air Jordan 1 colorway that shares the same nickname since they both belong to the same “Heiress” Collection. Hence, it should be obvious that the textile its uppers are made up of is none other than velvet, which the reason it looks so luxurious despite being a regular release. The Maroon hue that is covering its uppers and outsoles, with the exception of its White-colored branding and midsoles, further adds to the deluxe aesthetics of this sneaker. Joining the Holiday Season 2016’s Jordan releases, Jordan Brand will drop this Air Jordan 11 GS “Heiress” on December 17th.
