The Air Jordan 10 “Tinker” Borrows The Air Huarache Light’s “Ultramarine” Color Scheme

This year, Tinker Hatfield has been taking a trip down memory lane, bringing to life his original sketches of some of the most iconic Air Jordan sneaker models he designed years ago. It all began with the Air Jordan 3Tinker,” which made its retail debut this year on April 30th, Tinker Hatfield’s birthday. The Air Jordan Black Cat (Air Jordan 13 “Tinker”) also arrived at retailers earlier this year, while the Air Jordan 6 “Tinker” will hit the shelves soon. Also on its way is the Air Jordan 10 “Tinker.” Set to join upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018, it borrows the color scheme of another Tinker Hatfield-designed model.

Many sneakerheads recognize Tinker Hatfield for designing some of their favorite Air Jordan models, but they overlook the fact that he designed some popular Nike sneaker models as well. The color scheme of the Air Jordan 10 “Tinker” may look familiar because it first appeared on the “Ultramarine” iteration of the Nike Air Huarache Light. Tinker Hatfield is responsible for launching the Air Huarache line back in the early 1900s and he continued to work on the many successors of his original creation, including the Air Huarache Light. The Nike Air Huarache Light “Ultramarine” made its retail debut back in July 2014.

Unlike the Air Jordan 3 “Tinker” and the Air Jordan Black Cat, this upcoming Air Jordan 10 iteration does not feature a modified design. The thing that is special about is the “Ultramarine” color scheme that it has borrowed from the Air Huarache Light. Thus, its uppers are similarly dressed up in a combination of Black and Racer Blue. Its midsoles and outsoles are both plain White. Completing the look, Team Orange can be spotted over its heels, the “Jumpman” logo on each Teal-colored insole, and underneath its outsoles. The Air Jordan 10 “Tinker” is scheduled to make its retail debut on October 20th, 2018 for $190.
