One of the iconic Air Jordan 10 colorways from the City Series is returning to join this year’s Air Jordan releases 2019. After announcing his first retirement in 1993 to pursue a professional baseball career, it seemed like Michael Jordan would never again perform on an NBA court. Hence, the Air Jordan 10 was designed as a tribute to Michael Jordan and a select group of NBA players received PE colorways that collectively became known as the City Series once they hit the shelves.
It was Kendall Gill who first rocked the Air Jordan 10 “Seattle” on the hardwood. In case you are not aware, the Seattle Supersonics is actually the former name of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Last year, Jordan Brand even brought back the Air Jordan 10 “Orlando,” which once arrived at retailers on December 1st, 2018 and retailed at a price of $190.
Of course, like the original, this year’s version of the Air Jordan 10 “Seattle” will be dressed up in the color scheme of the Seattle Supersonics. Thus, its uppers will be plain White, followed by Black appearing around and over the laces, the midsoles and outsoles, and over the tongues. Additing the finishing touch, Kelly Green will cover the inner lining and be spotted over the outsoles as well.
Reportedly, it has already been confirmed that the Air Jordan 10 “Seattle” will be among the Air Jordan releases 2019 right before the Holiday Season begins in October. The photo accompanying this post is not of this year’s version, so keep checking back to SneakersDog for more updates.
