This Air Jordan 10 Celebrates Russell Westbrook’s 2006 “Graduation” From Leuzinger High School

As you may already know by now, Jordan Brand’s Fall lineup of upcoming Air Jordan releases is going to include colorways from their “Back To School” or “Graduation” Pack. In addition to the Air Jordan 12 and Air Jordan 13 that celebrate the graduation Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony, respectively, it seems that the pack also includes the Air Jordan 10 featured here for Russell Westbrook. He graduated from the Leuzinger High School back in 2006 and led his high school’s varsity basketball team to 25-4 record during his senior year. In addition to the Air Jordan 10 “Graduation,” a brand new Why Not Zer0.1 Low is arriving too.

After graduating from the Leuzinger High School, Russell Westbrook received a scholarship to attend the University of California and play for the UCLA Bruins. The latest colorway of the low-top variation of his signature sneaker model is drawing inspiration from his college basketball team. That is why the sneaker is predominantly White, while the Blue and Gold colors of the UCLA Bruins appear over the inner lining, “Jumpman” logo, outsoles and the “RW” branding on the tongues. Russell Westbrook’s “Why Not” motto can also be spotted on the inside of each tongue, printed in the same flowing font as the UCLA logo.

As you may have already figured out, the Air Jordan 10 featured here is inspired by Russell Westbrook’s graduation from the Leuzinger High School. In addition to have plain White uppers, the left and right shoes are mismatched since the right one features Blue-colored accents and left one features Red-colored ones, both of which are colors of Russell’s high school, varsity basketball team. While the engravings of Michael Jordan’s achievements are still intact beneath the soles, “Class of 2006” and the “RW” logo can be spotted on the left and right insoles, respectively. There is even a special “Air Jordan Collection” tag on the inside of each tongue.

Currently, there seems to be information about the release of the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 “UCLA.” However, it will eventually end up joining upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018, so keep checking back to SneakersDog for updates. As for the Air Jordan 10 “Graduation,” it is scheduled to make its retail debut on June 30th, 2018 at a price of $190.
