Jordan Brand’s Fall lineup of Air Jordan releases 2018 keeps on expanding. Earlier this year, Jordan Brand unveiled the Air Jordan 1 “Reimagined” Collection. It included five different fashion-forward variations of the Air Jordan 1, which came to be as a result of the combined work of 14 Nike designers, all women. Compared to the traditional Air Jordan 1 High, these variations had a relatively higher cut. The one with the highest cut was the Air Jordan 1 Explorer, which looks kind of like a knee-high boot. With the Fall season nearing and the weather cooling down, Jordan Brand has unveiled two brand new Air Jordan 1 Explorer colorways.
As the weather begins getting chilly, Jordan Brand tends to start taking an interest in whipping up winter-appropriate footwear. Back in early December 2017, Jordan Brand converted the Air Jordan 9 into a boot, releasing it in “Black/Gum” and “Olive” colorways. Back in September 2016, the Jordan Future lifestyle shoe was also transformed into a boot. Between September and December of that year, several different colorways of the Jordan Future Boot made their way to retailers. Based on their appearance alone, the Air Jordan 1 Jester, Lover, Rebel and Sage from the “Reimagined” Pack can also be regarded as boots due to their relatively higher cuts.
The Air Jordan 1 Explorer is undoubtedly a boot, ideal for women to lace up in during the Fall and Winter seasons. Perhaps not exactly knee-high boots, but the Air Jordan 1 Explorer reaches at least halfway up the wearer’s leg. Above ankle collars, the uppers appear to be semi-translucent. One of the two colorways is a tonal one, its uppers dressed up entirely dressed up in Black, while the other is apparently sporting a Green and Olive color scheme. Both of them also appear to be equipped with identical, plain White soles. Keep checking back to SneakersDog for more updates about these upcoming Air Jordan 1 Explorer colorways.
