Newer colorways and designs were coming out from Nike during the Holiday 2009 season. It was not hard to believe that Nike came up with a surprisingly great looking set of shoes under the Air Jordan lineup. There was the Phat series and sources had confirmed that these kicks had been specifically designed for indoor basketball. The “Phat” series was released in 4 different colorways, each having its own set of hues to offer. The colorways included this release were four; Black, black, Navy Blue, Patent Black and Royal Blue. Jordan Brand has also confirmed that the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” returns during the Holiday Season 2016.
The prominent feature of each Phat colorway was the color of midsole and the stitched lining that ran around the lower part of upper in each pair. The shoe had a low-top design with the Nike’s Swoosh incorporated on the sides, which this colorway a sweet looking one. The Nike logo was prominently visible on the sides of all 4 pairs. Double stitching lines on the upper’s surface ensured added durability and style. The outer sole on each colorway matched the upper’s hue. The special feature of this shoe was its color scheme. Combined with the patent leather, it provided a very stylish and unique glossy outlook.
Many sneakerheads must have copped a pair of the Air Jordan 1 “Reverse Shattered Backboard,” considering that it just arrived at retailers on October 8th. It was certainly a memorable iteration, but an even more iconic and original rendition of the Air Jordan 1 is scheduled to make its comeback next month, as per Jordan Brand’s confirmation. The “Black Toe” colorway of the model, dressed up in a combination of Black, Red and White, will be among November 2016’s Jordan releases. Of course, it gets its nickname from the Black-colored overlays around its toe boxes. Its return is scheduled to take place on November 5th, but its price had not been revealed yet.
