As a result of quality issues, the August Jordan release 2015 of the Air Jordan 1 KO “Bred” had been cancelled. Jordan Brand published a general, nonspecific statement regarding the reason the release was cancelled, which was cited in tweets posted by some of the leading sneaker retailers, such as Finish Line. However, months later the Air Jordan 1 KO “Bred” is once again in the headlines. A month ago the sneaker made its retail debut in Korea, not so long ago new editorial photos of the sneaker emerged, and now the has even arrived at retailers throughout Europe.
According to Jordan Brand’s statement, “product related issues” were the reason that the retail debut of the Air Jordan 1 KO “Bred” got “canceled indefinitely.” Jordan Brand apparently that the sneakers they produced did not meet their own high quality standards, which is quite obvious. Even though the particular quality issues that led to the cancellation were not specified by retailers, but based on complaints and photos that surfaced online, mold had appeared on the kicks. Photos in which the mold-covered Air Jordan 1 KO “Bred” pairs can be seen clearly were tweeted by the Twitter user @liziswaydope, while the issue was also discussed on NikeTalk.
It apparently seems that Jordan Brand has fixed the severe mold issues, but the appearance of the sneaker still remains the same. The original color scheme consisting of Black, Varsity Red and White covers the upper of the sneaker. The fact that this sneaker is completely made up of canvas also makes it quite durable and lightweight, while it looks both casual and classic. In Korea, the sneaker hit the shelves last month. Now that December 19th has also passed, Jordanheads in Europe can also cop a pair from any of the Nike stores. Moreover, all of this indicates a possible U.S. Jordan release 2015 of the Air Jordan 1 KO “Bred” very soon as well.
